Ingredients
- 3 lbs sirloin tip roast
- 3/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 teaspoons coarsely-ground black pepper
- 1.5 teaspoons Liquid Smoke
- 1.5 teaspoons onion powder
- 1.5 teaspoons seasoned salt (I prefer @am.niccoli.salt)
- ¾ teaspoons garlic powder
Directions
Mix the marinade ingredients
Cut the sirloin tip roast in thin slices (a pencil width or slightly less)
Marinade the sirloin refrigerated in an airtight container for 12-24 hours
Heat your @BurchBarrel and set your grates to a level with temp around 175*
Place the jerky on the Burch Barrel and add a final layer of black ground pepper
Cook 4-5 hours until you reach desired texture
