Our new favorite breakfast recipe is Nutella Stuffed French Toast. Grilling breakfast outside on the Burch Barrel is a great way to make your morning sweetly memorable. So take your coffee or OJ outside, put your feet up, & enjoy the fresh morning air next to your Burch Barrel. Smother this sweet & savory breakfast dish with a sprinkling of powdered sugar, a smattering of homemade whipped cream, & sliced strawberries. Breakfast on the Burch Barrel will be a hit with eaters of every age.
Ingredients

8 slices of brioche bread

6 tbsp Nutella
-
1 lb sliced strawberries

2 eggs
-
1 tsp vanilla
-
1 tsp sugar

1 ½ cup heavy whipping cream

¼ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp of vanilla

Directions
For the French Toast
In a bowl, whisk together 1⁄2 c heavy whipping cream, 2 eggs, sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract & set aside.
Take each piece of bread and spread Nutella evenly, then some sliced strawberries. Then lightly press 2 pieces of bread together and dredge into the batter.
On a flattop or skillet, place butter and let it melt. Then place the french toast down and brown on both sides.
For the Whipped Cream
In a bowl, add 1 c heavy whipping cream, 1⁄4 c powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract. With a hand mixer, whip until stiff peaks form. Use immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
Remove french toast and serve with sliced strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped cream. Enjoy!
